MY EXPLORATION

For my French Inquiry project I wanted to improve/ learn proper French pronunciation and this cite is a collection to document evidence of my exploration! This contains some of the many audio files I recorded , as well as photos of my journal entries I made.

SEPT 26th first 5 words:

OCT 3:

It was after this recording that I learned more about the pronunciation of “é” so please excuse the errors as I learn 🙂

By this point I was feeling like there was slow improvement with my understanding and pronunciation!

OCT13 New words:

During this week, I learned about different French accents such as the dieresis (tréma) which is a French accent found only on e, i and u. (2 dots over a letter) which indicates that the letter should be pronounced separately. I also learned about Accent Aigu and Grave which I focused on in this list of words!

I have found that it is helpful to hear French being spoken even when I don’t understand the words because I can still hear the sounds!

Nov 4 French Story:

This story is nice and simple and I like how it highlights different French words such as the seasons!
